Description In this article, methods and principles of preservation and exhibition of archaeological-paleontological monuments in situ are considered. Classifications of paleontological locations and Paleolithic sites are given. New museum complexes – “archaeoparks” of proper typology are grounded. The stages of monuments’ museification have been analyzed. Human dwellings that were constructed out of mammoth bones are utilized as concrete examples of archaeological-paleontological objects around which “archeoparks” and exhibitions are developed.
