Description A country can maximize their profit with selling the product with relatively expensive cost. Indonesia itself as a maritime-based country seeks to manage and maintain the maritime sector and in particular on the issue of fisheries. Various impacts also affect the existence of Indonesian marine, global warming, illegal fishing to the still lack of law enforcement over marine cases affect the increase of the Indonesian marine. This paper seeks to assess the importance of marine management by making comparisons with the practice of other countries and also to support the rate of Indonesian involvement in ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
