Description Este artigo apresenta o caso prático como instrumento importante para o desenvolvimento da aprendizagem ativa (active learning) no contexto do ensino de teoria das relações internacionais para alunos de graduação. Com foco no estimulo à aprendizagem e na retenção do conceito de níveis de análise, este artigo detalha a aplicação de um caso prático sobre o programa nuclear iraniano, e a sua respetiva resolução em sala de aula. This article presents the practical case as an important instrument for the development of active learning within the context of teaching theory of international relations for undergraduate students. Focusing on stimulating learning and on knowledge retention of the concept of levels of analysis, this article details the application of a practical case about the Iranian nuclear program, and its respective resolution in the classroom.
