This article aims to analyze, from a comparative perspective, the way in which counseling is investigated in different Spanish-speaking countries of Iberoamerica. Initially, the relationship between counseling, educational change and school improvement is exposed, in order to understand the research examined. Subsequently, such investigations are addressed. In these it was identified that the majority are based on a qualitative paradigm and that their main objects of study are the processes and the way in which counseling is carried out, its sustainability over time, and the figure of the advisor (competences, training, etc.). Then, characteristics of the consultancies investigated are exposed, such as their approaches and forms of organization. Finally, it is concluded that counseling, despite the differences between contexts and countries, has accompaniment as its pedagogical core. Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar, desde una perspectiva comparada, la manera en que se investiga la asesoría en diferentes países de Iberoamérica de habla española (2015-2020). Inicialmente, se expone la relación entre asesoría, cambio educativo y mejora escolar, a fin de comprender las investigaciones examinadas. Posteriormente, se abordan tales investigaciones. En éstas se identificó que la mayoría se basan en un paradigma cualitativo y que sus principales objetos de estudio son los procesos y la forma en que se lleva a cabo la asesoría, la sostenibilidad de ésta en el tiempo, y la figura del asesor (competencias, formación, etcétera). Luego se exponen características de las asesorías investigadas como sus enfoques y formas de organización. Finalmente, se concluye que la asesoría, a pesar de las diferencias entre contextos y países, tiene como núcleo pedagógico el acompañamiento. |
