Description Sungai Ampang terletak di Sungai Lansek Kabupaten Sijunjung digunakan oleh warga sekitar sebagai sarana mandi dan mencuci, sebagai sumber penghasilan dan untuk keperlan rumah tangga. Sungai Ampang juga digunakan untuk mata pencarian bagi warga sekitar yaitu pengambilan pasir yang menyebabkan terganggunya spesies Gastropoda dan Bivalvia yang ada di sungai tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis Gastropoda dan Bivalvia yang yang terdapat disungai Ampang. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan menetapkan tiga stasiun. Penelitian telah dilakukan pada April 2021 di Sungai Ampang Nagari Sungai Lansek Kabupaten Sijunjung dan diidentifikasi di Laboratorium Zoologi STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 6 spesies Gastropoda yaitu Thiara scabra, Melanoides tuberculata, Tarebia granifera, Pomaceae paludosa, Pomaceae canaliculata, dan Filopaludina javanica dan Bivalvia didapatkan 2 spesies yaitu Pilsbryoconcha exillis dan Rectidens sumatrensis. Kata kunci : Gastropoda dan Bivalvia, purposive sampling.
