Description AbstrakPertumbuhan lembaga pendidikan islam semakin pesat, terlebih pondok pesantren mendapatkan sambutan yang menggembirakan dari masyarakat, karena prestasi dan akhlak  para santrinya, namun tidak menutup kemungkinan masih banyak yang masih menyisakan permasalahan, berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi di lembaga pendidikan baik pendidikan islam maupun umum. Merosotnya moral setiap hari semakin merebak, dibutuhkannya pembaharuan kurikulum pendidikan islam dan penanaman pendidikan karakter agar menghasilkan santri anak didik yang memilki akhlak yang mulia. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan islam yakni Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Al-Qosimi yang membidangi santri tahfidz al-qur’an, di PPQ juga menjadikan pendidikan karakter prioritas utama, penerapannya dilaksanakan diberbagai kegiatan, baik formal maupun non formal. Membentuk karakter kepribadian yang baik dan sikap hal ini dilakukan untuk mencetak santri yang religius berakhlak al-karimah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa perencanaan pendidikan karakter di pondok pesantren qur’an al-qosimi. 2. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa implementasi pendidikan karakter di pondok pesantren qur’an al-qosimi. 3. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengendalian pendidikan karakter di pondok pesantren qur’an al-qosimi. Teknis analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif, dimana analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif dan berlangsung secara terus menerus samapi tuntas sehingga datanya sampai jenuh. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Kata Kunci : Strategi, Pendidikan Karakter AbstractThe growth of Islamic educational institutions is increasingly rapid, especially Islamic boarding schools get an encouraging welcome from the community, because of the achievements and morals of the students, but it is possible that there are still many problems, various problems that occur in educational institutions both Islamic and general education. The decline in morals every day is increasingly widespread, there is a need for renewal of the Islamic education curriculum and the cultivation of character education in order to produce students who have noble character. One of the Islamic educational institutions, namely the Al-Qur'an Al-Qosimi Islamic Boarding School which is in charge of tahfidz al-Qur'an students, at PPQ also makes character education a top priority, its application is carried out in various activities, both formal and non-formal. Forming a good personality character and attitude is done to produce religious students with al-karimah character. The purpose of this study is to 1. Describe and analyze character education planning in the Qur'an al-Qosimi Islamic boarding school. 2. Describe and analyze the implementation of character education in the Qur'an al-Qosimi Islamic boarding school. 3. Describe and analyze the control of character education in the Qur'an al-Qosimi Islamic boarding school. Technical analysis of the data in this study is qualitative analysis, where data analysis is carried out interactively and takes place continuously until it is complete so that the data is saturated. The data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation.
