Description The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the relationship between parental involvement to improve student chemistry learning achievement. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive and significant relationship between parental involvement and chemistry learning achievement. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research, with the product moment correlational analysis. The population of this study was all students of class X with a total sample of 52 students. The results showed that the significance value was 0.012, because the significance was smaller than 0.05 (0.012 <0.05), then Ho was rejected Ha was accepted. So there is a positive and significant relationship between parental involvement and student chemistry learning achievement at SMAN 14 Bungo.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan keterlibatan orang tua untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar kimia siswa. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara keterlibatan orang tua dengan prestasi belajar kimia. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dengan analisis korelasional product moment. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 15 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,012, karena signifikansi lebih kecil dari pada 0,05 (0,012 < 0,05), maka Ho ditolak Ha diterima. Jadi terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikansi antara keterlibatan orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar kimia siswa di SMAN 14 Bungo.
