Description Legal science covers a limited scope since it only focuses on norms or law. Many problems relating to law raises further questions that require a fundamental answer. The fact is that these questions are impossible to be answered by legal science. This phenomenon is being the object of discussion in the field of philosophy. Philosophy, with its metaphysics, epistemology, and axiology ways of thinking, besides providing fundamental answers to problems in philosophy and general science, also give a solid foundation for the existence of law itself. Law, if reflected through philosophical science, is included as science which has its own characteristics for its normative nature.
