Description The magnificent Quran was revealed by Allah Almighty to our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in approximately 22 years and finally it was gathered into the present order available to us. This present Quranic order is different from the order in which it was revealed though it was not compiled in this order through any human’s effort but only as directed by Allah. Despite this difference between revealed order and Mushaf’s order, there exists Munasbat (affinity) among the verses and Surahs of Holy Quran. This affinity highlights the miraculous status of Quran, as it was also a hurdle for the great eloquent Arabs, who were not able to accept the Quranic challenge of creating likes of it, even after receiving the challenge numerous times. In this article firstly, reader’s attention is drawn towards the Munasbat in Quran, its definition, existence, importance, types, and its rulings. Secondly, the writer has tried to present and compare the methodology adopted by two great exegetes of modern era meaning by: Dr Israr Ahmad and Sheikh Muhammad Mutawalli Ash sha’rawi, in their Tafseer while presenting the Munasbat in Quran.
