Description This research is motivated by the low motivation of students to learn, so that it has an impact on the competence of personality and emotional intelligence. This research aims to find evidence of personality and emotional intelligence competencies of students' motivation, as well as to find out the relationship between personality and emotional intelligence competencies educational field practice (PLK) teacher motivation semester studying in Class XI SMK N 2 Courses in Academic Year 2016/2017. This research is quantitative is associative. The instruments used in gathering data is questionnaire Likert scale models. The population of the study, all students of Class XI semester at SMK N 1 Muara Bungo in Academic Year 2019/2020. So it is concluded that the relationship between personality competence is in the very good category (82.09%), the relationship between emotional intelligence is in the good category (72.21%), and the motivation to learn is in the good category (75.14%). Results of the study found that there is a positive and significant relationship between personality and emotional intelligence competencies educational field practice (PLK) teacher to student motivation Xl semester classes at SMK N 1 Muara Bungo in Academic Year 2019/2020.
Penelitan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga berdampak terhadap kompetensi kepribadian dan kecerdasan emsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi kompetensi kepribadian dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, serta untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan kompetensi kepribadian dan kecerdasan emosional guru praktek lapangan kependidikan (PLK) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif bersifat asosiatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner model skala Likert. Populasi dari penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa Kelas Xl Semester Ganjil di SMK N 1 Muara Bungo  Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Maka disimpulkan hubungan kompetensi kepribadian masuk dalam kategori baik sekali (82,09%), hubungan kecerdasan emosional masuk dalam kategori baik (72,21%), dan motivasi belajar masuk dalam kategori baik  (75,14%). Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi kepribadian dan kecerdasan emosional guru praktek lapangan kependidikan (PLK) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa Kelas Xl Semester Ganjil di SMK N 1 Muara Bungo Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020.
