In this study we set out to approach, from the perspective offeminist anthropology, the analysis of the principal changesthat have arisen in Andalucía (Spain) from the introductionof policies for hiring quotas1 of immigrant women in theircountries of origin in the intensive cultivation of strawberry.Starting from a qualitative methodology, sustained on in-depthinterviews and participant observation, we will try to illustratethe specific connection that is established between territorialdivision of labor, policies of hiring in countries of origin, andfeminization of labor in this globalized agriculture.
Desde la perspectiva de la antropología feminista, en este artículose propone abordar el análisis de los principales cambios queha supuesto la introducción de las políticas de contratación enorigen de cupos1 de mujeres inmigrantes en el cultivo intensivode la fresa en Andalucía (España). Partiendo de una metodologíacualitativa, apoyada con la entrevista en profundidad y laobservación participante, se intentará ilustrar la conexión específicaque se establece entre la división territorial del trabajo, laspolíticas de contratación en origen y la feminización del trabajoen esta agricultura globalizada. |
