Based on a review of the most characteristic functions associated with the performance of the inspectorial function, typical of a democratic professional model, we highlight the importance that we attach to those that have the greatest impact on the professional development of the collective of school directors: training and advice. Taking into account the researches of the doctoral thesis about Educational Inspection Service in Spain between 2008 and 2019 and those found through a review of the literature in the same period, it is clear that our subject of study appears still weak as a central focus of analysis or it deserves tangential and anecdotal consideration. In this article, we aim to provide an overview of practical reflections and proposals for action aimed at improving the performance of these functions by the collective inspector.
A partir de una revisión de las funciones más características asociadas al desempeño de la función inspectora, propias de un modelo profesional democrático, se destaca la importancia que atribuimos a las que tienen mayor incidencia en el desarrollo profesional del colectivo de directores y directoras escolares: la formación y la asesoría. Consideradas las investigaciones de tesis doctorales sobre la Inspección en España entre los años 2008 a 2019 y las que se constatan mediante una revisión de la literatura en el mismo período, se pone en evidencia que nuestro tema objeto de estudio aparece de manera todavía débil como foco central de análisis o bien merece una consideración tangencial y anecdótica. En este artículo pretendemos ofrecer un panorama de reflexiones y propuestas de acción de orden práctico orientadas hacia la mejora en el desempeño de esas funciones por parte del colectivo inspector. |
