The flood of the city of La Plata on April 2, 2013, as a traumatic and unexpected event, caused a destabilizing situation for that society. In the following months the local artistic field, interpellated by the event, functioned as a platform that made possible the emergence of multiple collective proposals, that problematized what occurred. In this way, the work analyzes the artistic intervention called Stages of collective memory, action developed in the public space around the commemoration of the first anniversary of the flood, with the purpose of problematizing the idea that art is a vehicle of memory. La inundación de la ciudad de La Plata del 2 de abril de 2013, como acontecimiento traumático e inesperado, provocó una situación desestabilizadora para la sociedad. En los meses posteriores al suceso, el campo artístico local, atravesado e interpelado por el acontecimiento, funcionó como una plataforma que posibilitó la emergencia de múltiples propuestas artísticas y colectivas que problematizaron lo acontecido. En este sentido, el artículo analiza la intervención artística denominada Estadíos de la memoria colectiva, acción desarrollada en el espacio público en torno a la conmemoración del primer aniversario de la inundación, con el objetivo de problematizar la idea de arte como vehículo de memoria. |
