Description OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the influence of the organizational climate on the performance of the Nursing teacher in National University of San Marcos. MATERIALS AND METHODS: T Descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational study. The sample was 45 teachers and 58 nursing students of the fifth year of studies. Likert scales instrument. RESULTS: Of a total of 45 teachers surveyed, 63% of teachers report an unhealthy or average organizational climate, and 54.9% of teachers, according to students, have an average level of performance. CONCLUSIONS:The organizational climate significantly influences the performance of the nursing teacher. Most teachers have an unhealthy organizational climate and an average level of teaching performance.
OBJETIVOS: Evaluar la influencia del clima organizacional en el desempeño del docente de Enfermería en la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Estudio descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra: 45 docentes y 58 estudiantes de enfermería del quinto año de estudios. Como instrumentos se tomaron escalas tipo Likert. RESULTADOS: De un total de 45 docentes encuestados, 63% de los docentes refiere un clima organizacional poco saludable o medio; asimismo, 54,9% de los docentes según los estudiantes presentan un nivel medio de desempeño. CONCLUSIONES: El clima organizacional influye significativamente sobre el desempeño del docente de enfermería. La mayoría de los docentes presentan un clima organizacional poco saludable y un nivel medio del desempeño docente.
