Description Edward Bernays is, undoubtedly, the most significant figure in the field of propaganda, and an inescapable reference when researching or discussing this topic. This article seeks to show the most important ideas, of this extraordinary thinker, of his book "Propaganda" of 1927, in addition to analyzing them in terms facts, strategies and characters of the past, and present history, such as Brexit, Kellogg Co., UEFA, Joseph Goebbels, Purina Dog Chow, among others, with the purpose of validating the validity, impact and significance of a visionary's thought, after close to a century.
Edward Bernays es, sin duda, la figura más significativa en el campo de la propaganda y referente ineludible cuando se investiga o discute sobre este tópico. Este artículo busca dar a conocer las ideas más importantes de este extraordinario pensador de su libro Propaganda de 1927, y examinarlas a la luz de hechos, estrategias y personajes de la historia pasada y presente, como, el Brexit, Kellogg Co., la UEFA, Joseph Goebbels, Purina Dog Chow, entre otros, con el propósito de validar la vigencia, el impacto y la trascendencia del pensamiento de un visionario, tras cerca de una centuria.
