Description
 Pemahaman number sense  penting diberikan kepada anak sejak dini, agar anak memiliki pengetahuan dasar dalam konsep bilangan yang berguna bagi kehidupannya. Beberapa penelitian anak-anak usia tujuh hingga sembilan tahun memperlihatkan, mereka  merasa takut atau khawatir dengan matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan number sense pada anak  usia 5-6 tahun di Kober Harapan Bunda melalui penerapan media corong berhiitung.  Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research) atau PTK, sebanyak dua siklus di Kober Harapan Bunda Kabupaten Sumedang. Subjek penelitian, anak kelompok usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 7 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan  teknik observasi dan tes unjuk kerja. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan persentase dan indek gain. Hasil penelitian melalui penerapan media corong berhitung selain dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam memahami number sense dapat meningkatkan minat belajar anak. number sense anak dari 3,9%, siklus I mencapai 37,7%, dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 96,1%.  Kata Kunci: media, corong berhitung, number sense  Abstrack Understanding number sense is important given to children from an early age, so that children have basic knowledge in the concept of numbers that are useful for their lives. Some research of children ages seven to nine show that they are afraid or worried about mathematics. The purpose of research was to improve the ability of number sense in children aged 5-6 years in Kober Harapan Bunda through the application of counting funnel media. The research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), as many as two cycles in Kober Harapan Bunda, Sumedang Regency. Research subjects, children aged 5-6 years, amounting to 7 people. Data collection techniques with observation and performance tests. Data analysis the calculation of percentage and index gain. The results of research through the application of counting funnel media in addition to improving children's ability to understand number sense can increase children's learning interest. children's sense number from 3.9%, the first cycle reached 37.7%, and the second cycle increased to 96.1%. keywords: media, counting funnel, number sense
