Description This article presents a historical, social and political approach to the situation in Latin America and its process of democratic construction. In this sense, it focuses special attention on the link between hegemonic power and constitutionalism in the cases of Colombia and Paraguay. To do this, it carries out a comparative analysis between both countries, which permeates bipartisanship and authoritarianism. The objective is to determine the proposals that both constitutional processes bring within the context of democracy and their relationship with the hegemonic powers.
Este artículo realiza un abordaje histórico, social y político de la situación en Latinoamérica y su proceso de construcción democrático. En este sentido, presta especial atención en la vinculación entre poder hegemónico y constitucionalismo en los casos de Colombia y Paraguay. Para ello, realiza un análisis histórico-comparativo entre ambos países, que permea en el bipartidismo y el autoritarismo, con el objetivo de determinar las propuestas que traen ambos procesos constitucionales dentro del contexto de democracia y su relación con los poderes hegemónicos.
