Description This research was conducted as a study of undergraduate thesis in the year 2014 to evaluate special education assistants in the classroom who are subjected to constant exposure of manipulation of excessive loads when performing their work with students with special educational needs (SEN) which can generate musculoskeletal symptoms and influence their quality of working life musculoskeletal disorders due to exposure to ergonomic risk in the workplace are health problems with greater Prevalence in Chile. The objective of this study was to determine the association between the presence of musculoskeletal symptoms and the quality of professional life in the classroom special education assistants in the commune of Talca. The results showed 4 significant associations between the presence of musculoskeletal symptoms and the quality of professional life.
Esta investigación se realizó como tesis de pregrado en el año 2014 para evaluar a los asistentes de educación especial en aula, quienes están expuestos a cargas manuales excesivas cuando realizan su labor con los estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales (NEE), lo que podría generar síntomas osteomusculares e influir en su calidad de vida profesional (CVP). Los trastornos osteomusculares por exposición a riesgos ergonómicos en el ámbito laboral son los problemas de salud con mayor prevalencia en Chile. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la asociación entre la presencia de síntomas osteomusculares y la calidad de vida profesional (CVP) en los asistentes de educación especial en aula de la comuna de Talca. En los resultados se evidenciaron 4 asociaciones significativas entre la presencia de síntomas osteomusculares y CVP.
