Creator Chijindu, Asogwa Tochukwu

Description Communicable diseases are (bacteria, virus, infections and fungi) that can be transferred directly or indirectly from one person to another (mostly as a result of body contact). This work presents a means to help prevent this epidemic transmission in biometric devices, using a Touchless finger print verification system. This is presented to replace the conventional fingerprint scanner that requires direct contact from the query personnel for fingerprint acquisition and verification. This work will be developed using image acquisition tools, image processing tools, and machine learning technique. Mathlab will be used for the system implementation and a direct changeover style is recommended for the immediate use.
