Barnboken – Journal of Children's Literature Research , founded in 1977, is an Open Access online-only journal published by The Swedish Institute for Children's Books . Barnboken –Journal of Children's Literature Research is the only scholarly journal in its field published in Sweden. The main language of the journal is Swedish, but articles written in Danish, Norwegian and English are also welcome. All non-English articles will be provided with an abstract in English. All articles accepted for publication have been peer reviewed by at least two peers and will be published online under an Open Access model. We especially welcome articles with Swedish/Nordic connections. We strive to publish articles that apply new approaches while integrating previous research in an innovative and creative way. Our standards are high, and awareness of the academic context is highly meritorious Our authors should be familiar with and have good knowledge of the research of other scholars in the discipline, both nationally and internationally, and integrate this knowledge into the submitted paper.
