KALAM (p-ISSN: 0853-9510 ; e-ISSN: 2540-7759 ) is a biannual journal, published by Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Study, State Islamic University of Raden Intan Lampung, INDONESIA, in collaboration with Asosiasi Aqidah dan Filsafat Islam , or Association of Indonesian Scholars of Islamic Theology and Philosophy. KALAM is primarily intended for the publication of scholarly works in the field of Islamic Studies, especially ones that relate to Islamic theology, Islamic philosophy, Islamic mysticism and Islamic thoughts. KALAM seeks to place the study of Islam within interdisciplinary approaches, and across various traditions of learning. KALAM accepts articles in both English and Indonesia, as well as maintains a double-blind peer review process. As an academic journal, KALAM has been accredited by Decree of the Directorate General of Research Reinforcement and Development, the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Number 1/E/KPT/2015), and since 2017, it has become a CrossRef Member , which means that all articles published by KALAM will have a unique DOI number.
