Washington State Kappan is a regional journal that explores issues of research, leadership, and practice in education, with a focus on: · Articles examining the successes and challenges experienced by students, teachers, and administrators · Practical, evidence-based ideas for teaching and learning to meet the needs of diverse students · Information on effective models of professional development and professional growth for all educators Washington State Kappan is published online and in print two times a year. Full-length research and theory articles and practitioner-focused school or classroom-based articles are accepted for consideration through peer review. In addition, the journal is soliciting less formal book or materials reviews for each issue.
