SFU Educational Review

The SFU Educational Review provides an online peer-reviewed forum to showcase the diversity of work emerging from faculty and graduate students in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University. In the spirit of removing educational borders, it is the SFU Ed Review’s intention to encourage and nurture alternative ideas in teaching, learning, research and scholarship over a wide range of topics within the field of education. The SFU Ed Review is also interested in reviewing experimental papers as well as digital artifacts, such as performances, film clips, photographs and the like. One of the goals of this journal is to foster greater inclusivity in the field as well as to provide a space for different forms and genres not usually found in more traditional scholarly journals. The SFU Ed Review also endeavours to extend their experiences and insights that arise from places where graduate students develop their understandings of education, such as the Learning Together Conference and course work. The SFU Ed Review also seeks to continue the dialogues that arise from recognizing both traditional and divergent perspectives, to discover innovative ways of being educators as well as learners, and ultimately, to strengthen the community that the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University creates. The editorial team offers authors an opportunity to collaborate in the preparation of manuscripts or digital work for publication.
