WEPAN 2016 Change Leader Forum

WEPAN (Women in Engineering ProActive Network) is excited to convene the  2016 Change Leader Forum  in Broomfield, CO, from June 14-16, 2016.  There may be pre-conference workshops offered on June 13 and post conference workshops offered on June 17. At the 2016 Forum, WEPAN will continue its focus ontransformation of culture to achieve the full inclusion of diverse communities of women in engineering. WEPAN invites proposals on best practices and initiatives to advance culture in engineering  relevant for those new to the field and experts. Proposals are due on December 23, 2015. At WEPAN’s annual Change Leader Forum, experts from diverse fields (science, engineering, technology, math, education, and social sciences) and from the corporate, academic, government and non-profit sectors, will continue the crucial national dialogue about the impact of culture on engaging and retaining diverse communities of women and other underrepresented groups in engineering—both in education and the workforce. Together we are building a diverse, inclusive, 21 st  century engineering workforce by transforming traditional, gendered expectations in engineering. Transforming culture in engineering requires us to join forces--committed corporate, government, non-profit and academic leaders at all levels --to champion culture change for diversity, inclusion and innovation.
