Texas Journal of Agriculture and Natural Resources

The Texas Journal of Agriculture and Natural Resources (TXJANR) is a refereed journal published on-line by the Agriculture Consortium of Texas (ACT). The ACT is composed of Texas Universities, Community, and Junior Colleges offering degrees in agriculture or natural resources. These universities are Abilene Christian University, Angelo State University, Prairie View A&M University, Sam Houston State University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Sul Ross State University, Tarleton State University, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, and West Texas A&M University. These community and junior colleges are Blinn College, Cisco Junior College, Houston Community College, Kilgore College, McLennan Community College, North Central Texas College, Northeast Texas Community College, Odessa College, Trinity Valley Community College, Vernon Regional Junior College, and Western Texas College. The TXJANR publishes articles of recent research work, either descriptive or experimental in nature. Articles from the various disciplines of agriculture and natural resources will be published in the Journal subsequent to critical peer review and approval of the editorial board. ARticles submitted for publication in the Journal are to report on work done in Texas by university personnel and their associates. No article is to be submitted for review if the manuscript is under consideration by another journal or magazine. Articles are to be written with critical research analysis but in a style that is easily understood by professional agriculturalists and resource managers. Publication charges are $50 per journal page for ACT members and $100 per page for non-ACT members with a minimum charge of $150 per article.
