Perio J is a peer-reviewed, international open access periodontology journal committed to quality research and development in the field of periodontology. It is our goal to make research studies freely accessible to all individuals associated with the periodontal community by eliminating the obstacles that may be encountered in the process of acquiring information. We strive to attain a standing of excellence and recognition through our publications in order to serve and advance the various aspects of periodontal research. In order to accommodate the various aspects of periodontal research, Perio J publishes the following articles: original articles, review articles, commentaries, case series, and letters to the editor. Our scope encompasses all topics pertaining to the field of periodontology including the biologic aspects of periodontology, clinical periodontics, and oral implantology.
