InterDISCIPLINARY Journal of Portuguese Diaspora Studies

The Interdisciplinary Journal of Portuguese Diaspora Studies ( IJPDS ) is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that fosters research on the Portuguese diaspora from a multidisciplinary, comparative, and international perspective within thematic areas that embrace the Humanities and the Social Sciences. The journal is an annual publication in online and print formats. Also part of this academic journal is the publication of special thematic issues that engage with aspects of Portuguese diaspora studies, both traditional and modern. All submissions for publication undergo are subject to a double-blind peer-review process and are subjected to rigorous editorial practices. IJPDS publishes original manuscripts, ranging from full research articles to book reviews, as well as narratives representative of the Portuguese diaspora and whose message is conveyed in visual texts (photography), and or fictional writing. The languages of publication are English, Portuguese, Spanish, or French.
