Description Abstrak            Pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di madrasah merupakan upaya penyampaian ajaran-ajaran agama Islam dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui kegiatan ini, ajaran-ajaran agama Islam dapat sampai kepada peserta didik, tidak hanya sekedar doktrin tetapi juga diiringi dengan pembentukan sikap kritis. Aktor yang memegang peran sangat penting adalah guru. Kompetensi pada berbagai bidang menjadi tuntutan bagi guru PAI saat ini, seiring dengan kompleksitas dari peserta didik. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Wawotobi menjadi fokus dalam artikel ini karena menunjukkan kecenderungan sangat adaptif terhadap perkembangan terkini, terutama pada peserta didik. Akses yang sangat besar terhadap sumber-sumber digital melalui kepemilikan smartphone menjadi pemicu loncatan kritisisme peserta didik. Sehingga guru bukan lagi satu-satunya sumber informasi pembelajaran, tetapi telah tersandingkan dengan sumber-sumber digital. Sehingga masalah yang dapat diajukan adalah "bagaimana iklim pembelajaran PAI di tengah suasana serba digital? bagaimana kesiapan guru PAI dalam menanggapi animo digital siswa? bagaimana dukungan kebijakan sekolah dalam konteks pembelajaran era digital?. Riset ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif denga metode deskriptif, di mana peneliti menjadi instrumen utama dalam melakukan pengamatan terlibat, wawancara mendalam, dan mengkaji dokumen. Data dianalisis melalui proses reduksi, display, dan verifikasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan member check, trianggulasi, perpanjangan pengamatan dan meningkatkan ketekunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan iklim belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam tidak menentu dan tidak kondusif, rendahnya kesiapan guru PAI dalam menghadapi percepatan perkembangan siswa, dan kebijakan sekolah belum terumuskan dengan baik dalam kontek pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, Era Digital, Profesi GuruAbstract            The learning of Islamic education in madrasah is an effort to convey the teachings of Islam in the learning process. Through this activity, the teachings of Islam can reach the learners, not just doctrine but also accompanied by the formation of a critical attitude. The actor who plays a very important role is the teacher. Competence in various fields becomes a demand for current PAI teachers, along with the complexities of learners. Wawotobi State Madrasah Tsanawiyah is the focus of this article because it shows a very adaptive tendency towards recent developments, especially in learners. The enormous access to digital resources through ownership of smartphones is a trigger for the leap of criticism of learners. So the teacher is no longer the only source of learning information, but has been matched with digital sources. So the problem that can be asked is "how is the learning climate of PAI in the middle of all digital atmosphere? How is the readiness of PAI teacher in response to student digital animo? How is the support of school policy in context of learning of digital era ?. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method, become the main instrument in conducting observations, in-depth interviews, and reviewing documents The data are analyzed through the process of reduction, display and verification, followed by member check, trianggulation, extension of observation and increasing persistence. The results show that the learning climate of Islamic Education is uncertain and not conducive, low readiness of PAI teacher in facing acceleration of student development, and school policy not yet well formulated in context of learning of Islamic Religious Education Keywords: Islamic Education, Digital Era, Teacher Profession
