Description The research method used is Pre Experimental Design with One Group Pretest Posttest Design experiment design. This research was conducted on 2 SDNs namely SDN 1 Makarti Jaya and SDN 2 Makarti Jaya. The results showed that there is a difference in the increase of learners' understanding about environmental conservation from the utilization of Punti Kayu Palembang Nature Park as a learning resource through Outdoor Study and Gallery Walk. The Outdoor Study method is more effective than the Gallery Walk method in enhancing learners' understanding of environmental preservation. The implication is that learners' understanding of environmental conservation can be improved by utilizing the environment as a source of learning through the application of the Outdoor Study method and the Gallery Walk method
