Corruption in Nigeria has contributed positively to thedifficulties in improving educational system. The emergence ofinternet technology and deployment of ICT into the educationsystems have created a new demand in expanding the teacher’sskill especially in the developing countries like Nigeria. Thisstudy aims to investigate the factors affecting teacher’sadoption of ICT in teaching and learning in Nigeria secondaryschools. This quantitative study adopted used a survey methodand recommended ways to assist the school management andteachers in implementing ICT in the teaching and learningprocess.Keyword: Nigeria education system, Teacher adoption of ICT,Teaching and learning process.
