Description The paper presents the Russian Alexander Alexandrovich Malinovsky – Bogdanov – a scientist, economist, philosopher, physician, poet and Marxist revolutionary close to Lenin. His works were “forgotten” in Russia since he disagreed with some Marxist assumptions. They were rescued only from the 1960s in both Russia and by some Western authors. Virtually unknown in the West, especially in Portuguese-speaking countries, his main work is presented in this paper: Tektology. It is consistent with the relativism of Einstein, Mach and Poincaré, and also with the recent development in quantum physics at that time (Kats, 2004). Far from being a 'systemic model' the Tektology has the legitimate right to be regarded as a fundamental systemic science in which Bogdanov describes and defines the world in terms of 'complex' and universally applicable laws of organizing, creating, in indeed, the first and fundamental systemic general concept of the twentieth century (DUDLEY and PUSTYLNIK, 1995). It is expected that this paper can contribute to the discussion on transdisciplinarity.
O artigo apresenta o russo Alexander Alexandrovich Malinovsky – mais conhecido por Bogdanov – um cientista, economista, filósofo, médico, poeta e revolucionário marxista ao lado de Lenin. Ao discordar de alguns pressupostos marxistas, seus trabalhos foram “esquecidos” na Rússia, sendo resgatados somente a partir da década de 1960 tanto na Rússia quanto por alguns autores ocidentais. Praticamente desconhecido no ocidente, especialmente nos países de língua portuguesa, sua principal obra apresentada neste artigo é a Tectologia, coerente com o relativismo de Einstein, Poincaré e Mach, e também com a recente física quântica em desenvolvimento naquela época (KATS, 2004). Longe de ser um ‘modelo sistêmico’, a Tectologia tem o direito legítimo de ser considerada como uma ciência sistêmica fundamental na qual Bogdanov define e descreve o ‘mundo inteiro’ em termos de ‘complexos’ e leis de organização aplicáveis universalmente, criando, na verdade, o primeiro, e fundamental, conceito geral sistêmico do século XX (DUDLEY e PUSTYLNIK, 1995). Espera-se contribuir para o debate sobre a transdisciplinaridade a partir das ideias de Bogdanov.
