Description Women are a very important group in the family, workplace and society atlarge. Their concern for good looks affects their emotions, and bymultiplier effects, touches other segments of the society. Since thephysique of the hair on their heads is an element of their beauty, this studywas aimed at establishing the effect of receding hairlines (RHs) onNigerian city women. Female workers at the Federal SecretariatComplex, Enugu were targetted because they are a miniature group ofNigerian city women. The total population of 193 was reached withquestionnaire, and 170 completed copies were returned. Thequestionnaire had a section on personal information on the participantsand another section on technical information. The technical questionssought likert-scale answers: very true (4), true (3), weakly true (2), andfalse (1). The data were analyzed using the average mean score
