An emerging approachin this challenge known as Green Chemistry seeks to endthe diverse set of environmental perspective and interestsin every day practice of chemists who are mostlyresponsible for using and creating new materials orchemicals. The approach intends to eliminate the intrinsichazard itself, rather than focusing on reducing risks byminimizing exposure thereby leading to a moreenvironmentally acceptable chemical processes andproducts. As the feedstock industry for modern society,the chemical industry plays a major role in advancingscience and technology to support the design, creation,processing, use, and disposal of chemical substances thatprovide a foundation for sustainability.
