Description Motivation and positive attitude are the key factors which influence the success of learning any language. This paper aims to draw attention towards the situation of Bhojpuri as first language. It flashes that, in present scenario, how educated people, irrespective of class and caste they belong to, avoid Bhojpuri as first language. This paper discusses the responsible factors behind this attitude of Bhojpuri speakers in Varanasi(urban).
