The purpose of this study was to determined the effect of risk management, independent commissioners, compensation commissioners and ceos on financial performance both partially and simultaneously financial performance on banking companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange in the period 2014 - 2018. this study used quantitative methods. the data used is secondary data. the population is a banking company listed on the indonesia stock exchange. the sample is banking companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange from 2014 to 2018. the results of the study showed that the application of risk management has no significant effect on financial performance, independent commissioners have no significant effect on financial performance, compensation of commissioners and ceos has a significant effect on financial performance, then risk management, independent commissioners and commissioner and ceo compensation jointly influence the financial performance.
