Description This article aims to provide a model by using cumulative cases for SARS-CoV-2 (Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2) outbreak in most major countries with focusing on the Jordanian experience and response in combating COVID-19.
On March 2nd, 2020, Jordan reported the first confirmed cases of COVID‐19. Although, Jordan was among the first countries to implement highly strict preventive and control measures, the outbreak started around 1st October, 2020 (7 months later), after that there was a significant increase in the number of confirmed cases. 
 However, there are always opportunities to learn from the global experience to improve the current national strategy.
