Aborda-se a perícia científica na constatação das deficiências dos dependentes de segurados do Regime Geral de Previdência Social brasileiro, objetivando-se ressaltar a influência da prova pericial nas decisões administrativas e judiciais que atestem dependentes como deficientes intelectuais, mentais ou graves. Pelo método dedutivo, desenvolve-se pesquisa documental e técnico-normativa. Tal perícia é essencial à formação da convicção de que dependentes sejam deficientes, devendo sempre ser imparcial, realizada por especialista na área, baseando-se em método atual e balizado pela comunidade científica, diminuindo os riscos de decisionismos administrativo-judiciais destoantes da realidade fática e comprometedores da adequada efetivação de direitos fundamentais nos casos concretos.
