Propõe-se, a partir da comparação entre duas obras, refletir sobre a relação entre proce-dimentos intertextuais e a modernidade, com vistas a empreender uma análise-interpretação em torno da peça Salmo 91, de Dib Carneiro Neto, destacando-se a retomada transtextual que se efetua do “Salmo 91”, da Bíblia. A partir do conceito de transtextualidade, de Genette (2006), a Bíblia é revisi-tada em suas relações com o texto dramatúrgico, ou seja, Salmo 91 possui relações de campo, que agem sobre o leitor fazendo-o rememorar o texto bíblico a partir de tipos como intertexto, paratexto, metatexto e hipertexto.THE TRANSTEXTUAL DISCOURSE ON THE PIECE SALMO 91, BY DIB CARNEIRO NETOThrough the comparing of the pieces, we are supposed to reflect about the rela-tion between intertextual procedures and the modernity, with the finality of undertaking a analysis-interpretation around the piece Salmo 91, by Dib Carneiro Neto, showing up the transtextual resume performed in “Psalm ninety-one”, of the Bible. From the concept of transtextuality, by Genette (2006), the Bible is revisited in your relations with the dramaturgi-cal text, i.e., Salmo 91 owns field relations, which act on the reader, making him remind the biblical text from types as intertext, paratext, metatext, and hypertext.
