Description Germ cell tumors can be malignant or nonmalignant (benign) tumors, that originate from germ cells. They are much more common in ovaries than in testis. Metastasis of germ cell tumors is relatively rare. We present the case of a young adult male who was initially diagnosed with malignant mixed germ cell tumor and later developed a metastatic retroperitoneal mass in a time frame of approximately one year.
