Description The essay exposes some questions and notes about the impact of the new coronavirus on educational processes, with special attention to the deepening of educational inequalities in situations of global emergency. It seeks to tension both the strategies adopted by educational institutions, with the predominance of technological mediations and the use of digital tools, and the challenges of educating democratically in the current context. Finally, we ask: what is the role and what are the limits of distance education practices in a country marked by structural inequalities?
El ensayo presenta algunas preguntas y notas sobre el impacto del nuevo coronavirus en los procesos educativos, con especial atención a la profundización de las desigualdades educativas en situaciones de emergencia global. Busca tensar tanto las estrategias adoptadas por las instituciones educativas, con el predominio de las mediaciones tecnológicas y el uso de herramientas digitales, como los desafíos de educar democráticamente en el contexto actual. Finalmente, preguntamos: ¿cuál es el papel y cuáles son los límites de las prácticas educativas a distancia en un país marcado por desigualdades estructurales?
O ensaio traz algumas questões e apontamentos sobre o impacto do novo coronavírus nos processos educativos, com especial atenção para o aprofundamento das desigualdades educacionais em situações de emergência global. Trata-se de tensionar tanto as estratégias adotadas por instituições de ensino, com o predomínio das mediações tecnológicas e utilização de ferramentas digitais, quanto os desafios de educar democraticamente no contexto atual. Finalmente, questionamos: qual o papel e quais são os limites das práticas educativas a distância em um país marcado por desigualdades estruturais?
