Description The demand for hospital services provokes the need to implement mobile units incorporated into the public health network, which allow for offering health services optimally and under quality criteria that guarantee the satisfaction of the interested parties. In this sense, the Mobile Hospital No.1 began attending to the public on June 20, 2011 in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador and since its foundation has carried out more than 10,000 services. The objective of the investigation was to diagnose the current situation of the 47 collaborators or workers of the aforementioned organization regarding the conditions and administrative characteristics of their functions to infer about the need to implement a virtual training plan that allows optimizing the management of processes based on the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008. It was determined that 45% of the respondents claimed that the staff do have training to better perform their duties; while 55% maintain that proper training is not carried out. It was corroborated that there is a need to implement a training program through a virtual platform, so that it contributes to the improvement of processes in the care of patients who come to the Mobile Hospital No. 1.
