Description Aging is a multifactorial process where nutritional and functional changes that determine the quality of life of this population group become apparent. Nutritional screening and functional evaluation may be able to identify risk factors early, thereby allowing early nutritional intervention.
El envejecimiento es un proceso multifactorial donde se evidencian cambios nutricionales y funcionales que llegan a condicionar la calidad de vida de este grupo poblacional. El tamizaje nutricional y la evaluación funcional permitirán identificar factores de riesgo en forma precoz, permitiendo brindarles una intervención nutricional temprana.
O envelhecimento é um processo multifatorial, onde são evidentes alterações nutricionais e funcionais que determinam a qualidade de vida deste grupo populacional. A triagem nutricional e a avaliação funcional, permitirão identificar fatores de risco de forma precoce, permitindo uma intervenção nutricional antecipada.
