Introduction:. Patient identification is used for the accuracy of the implementation of services, treatment and action towards patients, as well as part of patient safety as a benchmark for health service suppliers Non-compliance with patients at risk of physical and psychological damage, even death.
Objective: The study aims to determine the determinants of nurse compliance in identifying patient safety in the drug administration process
Method: The study population was nurses in the inpatient rooms of Depok Regional General Hospital, with a total of 48 people taken in total sampling.
Results: the five dimensions of compliance have no correlation with nurse compliance in identifying patients (p value> 0.005), and only 18.9% of the patient identification is carried out by nurses where the R Square (R2) value is 0.189, the remaining 81.9% is due to others that need to be explored further
Conclusion: cannot determine the main determinant of nurse compliance because these factors are not the main determinant of nurse compliance identifying patients in drug administration
