Description In this investigation the evaluation of processes was identified as a strategy of continuous improvement in teachers of an educational institution in the province of Manabí. The acquisition of knowledge must be in constant renewal for a better understanding of the teaching-learning process. That is why the teacher has to be evaluated to identify their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to teaching, contributing to continuous improvement in the educational community. The study was of an exploratory type with a qualitative-quantitative approach along with the analytical-synthetic method, since through observation and the survey statistics were obtained that served to analyze and interpret the results. It was obtained that the evaluation of processes values ??the educational activities with which the teacher works in the classroom and allows the updating and improvement of educational instruction favoring the link between teacher-student, especially in the teaching and learning process.
