Saberes y prácticas publica trabajos originales e inéditos que desarrollen temas y problemas de filosofía y/o educación. Con especial interés en abordajes interdisciplinarios y enfoques críticos que habiliten el descentramiento hacia otros modos de conocer, aprender, enseñar, diseñar y promover políticas, ejercer posibilidades y ofrecer nuevas formas de comunidad. Es una iniciativa del CIIFE (Centro de Investigaciones Interdisciplinarias de Filosofía en la Escuela) de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, con el objetivo de crear un espacio de encuentro, entrecruzamiento, difusión y diálogo de saberes.
