Washington State Kappan

Washington State Kappan  is a regional journal that explores issues of research, leadership, and practice in education, with a focus on: ·      Articles examining the successes and challenges experienced by students, teachers, and administrators ·      Practical, evidence-based ideas for teaching and learning to meet the needs of diverse students ·      Information on effective models of professional development and professional growth for all educators Washington State Kappan  is published online and in print two times a year.   Full-length research and theory articles and practitioner-focused school or classroom-based articles are accepted for consideration through peer review. In addition, the journal is soliciting less formal book or materials reviews for each issue. If you are interested in writing for  WSK , your first step should be to familiarize yourself with the journal and the sorts of manuscripts it publishes.
